Operations & Sales Coordinator – Maternity Cover (with Guaranteed Full-Time Position)

Location: The Home Shutter Company Showroom. Based In Kings Langley, Hertfordshire
Hours: Full-Time | Mon to Fri | 9-5pm

What We Are Looking For:

The Home Shutter Company is dedicated to delivering premium quality shutters alongside exceptional customer service. As our brand grows, we are searching for an organised and personable Operations & Sales Specialist to join our team. Initially as maternity cover, however this role offers the unique opportunity of a guaranteed full-time position upon the return of the current team member.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Management: Responsible for managing all clients journeys throughout the entire sales process, from qualifying initial enquiries through to closing, including payment processing.

  • Client Interaction: Welcoming and assisting all clients through various channels of communication.

  • Lead Flow Management: Oversee all stages of lead enquiries, including initial responses, follow-ups and ongoing communication to ensure all clients feel supported and informed.

  • Quote Creation: Prepare and send quotes carried out throughout the day, provided by the measuring team (full training will be provided).

  • Product Specialist: Being fully knowledgeable and able to advise customers on all aspects of our services and products (full training will be provided).

  • Internal Software Specialist: Daily use of the internal CRM to identify opportunities, manage proposals, streamlining processes, reduce response times and improve customer satisfaction.

  • Phone & Voicemail Management: Answer incoming calls, promptly return missed calls and respond to voicemails.

  • High Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all internal notes are detailed correctly and accurately, including the management of the CRM.

  • Personable and Customer-Oriented: A people-facing role that requires strong interpersonal skills and a positive approach.

  • Experienced in Sales: Previous sales experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
